Messy Church

All children to be supervised by an adult

St Paul’s United Church held their first Messy Church at the end of November 2012. Into the unknown, it was a big success by any standard. There were 17 children and eight adults who filed into the Church annex from 3-30pm on a cold winter’s afternoon. The children, over a wide age-range, had found and logged 11 “lost sheep” around the shops in the village during the previous week! – thanks to the supportive shopkeepers. Then there were even more in March (children - not sheep!), and one parent asked if it was going to be 'every week'?     For "Harvest"  Messy Church there were 43 + adults; at the Alternative Halloween" Messy Church there were 29+ adults.

Please keep your eye on this page for future developments!

Join us in sharing the values of the church through arts and crafts, story-telling, construction, exploring, nature, community projects and singing for fun. All ages welcome - activities for older children. Supper provided.
